Netflix will premiere a docuseries about the 17-A attacks in Cambrils and Barcelona

Netflix announced this Wednesday that the documentary series 800 metersdirected by Elías León Siminiani and produced by Ramón Campos, from Bambú Producciones, will be presented at the 25th edition of the Malaga Festival and will hit the platform on March 25.

The docuseries reflects on why some supposedly integrated young people decide to die killing the 17-A attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils. The work reconstructs the events with unpublished audiovisual material, witnesses from researchers and experts and survivors and people from the immediate environment of the terrorists.

800 meters It is the result of a journalistic investigation by Anna Teixidor, Nacho Carretero and Jesús García. The result comes from more than a year of joint work, nearly 200 hours of recording, more than 80 interviews and numerous bibliographic sources, among which the book by Anna Teixidor is key: The silences of 17-A.
