Several trucks loaded with food and basic necessities collected at various points in Catalonia have left for the Polish border. One of them left Tarragona and was filled in Barcelona. The contributions are the result of citizen solidarity with the refugees from the invasion by Russia.
In addition to non-perishable food, they carry materials such as sleeping bags, pads, tents, heaters, batteries, flashlights, mobile phones, walkie-talkies, laptops, and tablets. Likewise, they carry some medications such as paracetamol, ibuprofen, bandages and iodine.
The organizers maintain solidarity collections for future shipments at points in Barcelona, Tarragona, Sant Cugat and Girona.
In addition, an entire truck has been collected in Guissona (Segarra), where there is a large Ukrainian population that has mobilized after the Russian invasion and the humanitarian emergency and that also collects economic aid.
