The town hall where you go to drink wine
Town Hall, winery… and restaurant. This building, located in one of the most important cities in Germany for its river trade, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2004 along with the statue of Roland that stands in front of it. Built in the Gothic style at the beginning of the 15th century, the Bremen Town Hall was renovated in the Renaissance style two centuries later.
In the basement there is a surprise: a cellar that keeps some national treasures and that are known as Ratskeller. This place keeps some treasures, such as a collection of wines from thirteen regions throughout Germany and the oldest wine barrel in the country, stored in 1653. This winery, the oldest in the country, also has a restaurant and a tavern where you can enjoy of a unique experience in the city.
